Dear 4th Grade parents, June, 3, 2014
To celebrate the end of a great year, I would like to invite all parents and relatives who are able to come on down to Willamette Park on Thursday, June 11th from 11:15 until 12:45 to enjoy some food, great company, games, and very brief sharing of student work. (If you can’t stay the whole time, that is fine.) This is a great chance to trade numbers and set up summer play dates. If you like to play kickball, wear your tennis shoes.
Directions: The park is straight past the school about 1/8th of a mile on 12th street. Go down the hill towards the Willamette River. We will be near the stage on the Right.
How you can help: Please come! We can’t have a party without people! If you are able, you could also bring a contribution to the lunch. I will ask students to bring a lunch, but it is often great to have some extra drinks, fruit, sweets, or even pizza to make it more festive. We will also have some time to play together, so you could bring a game if you like.
If you are bringing anything, have your child help you post a comment below to let us know what to expect.
Thank you so much for your support this year. I know that I am extremely lucky to be teaching such a thoughtful, creative, and caring group of students. Thanks for raising such a delightful bunch of children!
